Realty One Group Philippines - One Talks

I’ve spent years asking questions, meeting people, and telling stories through sports. As I build my journey in real estate with Realty ONE Group Upgrade, I’m bringing that same curiosity with me.

There is still so much I want to learn: how great brokers build their teams, how agents earn lasting trust, and how the right environment helps people grow. That is why the first Philippine edition of ONE Talks has my attention.

Scheduled for November 4, 2026, at SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City, ONE Talks Philippines brings together Filipino speakers and international real estate leaders for a day of coaching and connection. The announced topics include leadership, communication, content, and winning exclusive listings.

For me, this is an opportunity to listen, ask better questions, and meet people whose experience can challenge my thinking. It is also a chance to introduce the company I am now part of.

What exactly is Realty ONE Group, and why does its approach excite me?

Realty ONE Group was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2005 by Kuba Jewgieniew. Before entering real estate, he worked in stock trading and financial management and built computer hardware and software. According to his official biography, he closed 111 transactions in his first year as a real estate professional before establishing the company.

What interests me is the thinking behind the business: put real estate professionals at the center and give them the support to develop their own businesses.

The brand calls its approach the UNBrokerage. Its original announcement described a full-service model that challenges established industry practices through technology, support, and an emphasis on agents.

That makes me curious. When a company says it does things differently, I want to understand what that means in everyday work. How does it train people? How does it help them serve clients? How does it support someone bringing a different background into the industry?

Those are questions I am excited to explore further.

For me, the attraction is the combination of independence and support. I want room to build my own identity while learning from people who have already built successful businesses.

The company expresses its values through six Cs: Commission, COOLTURE, Coaching, Connect, Community, and Care.

The coaching and connection parts especially resonate with me. In sports, talent develops through preparation, feedback, and the people around you. I see a similar lesson here: enthusiasm gets you started, but learning and consistent work help you improve.

I also like the idea of enjoying the journey with other people. That is how I interpret the brand’s “COOLTURE”—a culture where collaboration and belonging have a place alongside ambition.

Understanding the people behind the brand adds another layer to the story.

While Kuba founded the global company, Robb Spearman serves as CEO and Master Franchise Owner of Realty ONE Group Philippines. His official profile describes more than 35 years in real estate, experience growing a brokerage from one agent to more than 200, and franchise development work in the American Midwest.

I am part of Realty ONE Group Upgrade, announced as the brand’s first Philippine franchise office. Its four owners are Joben Hernandez, Charlotte Marcelo, Kerwin Kho, and Pam Mangubat. Being part of that early Philippine chapter adds to my excitement. I get to learn the business while seeing how a global brand develops locally.

The ONE Talks lineup gives me several reasons to pay attention.

Jonathan Yabut, the Filipino winner of The Apprentice Asia, brings a leadership and business perspective. He is the founder and managing director of JY Consultancy & Ventures, with a background in marketing and talent development. Leadership & Business Consultant

I am interested in what he can share about translating ambition into habits, decisions, and leadership. Building a business means learning how to bring other people forward with you.

The Josh, identified in another conference organizer’s speaker biography as Joshua Jireh Vasquez, is the founder and CEO of Voicebox Training University. His work covers leadership, sales, communication, and organizational growth. ONE Talks’ announcements highlight his session on communication and influence. Entrepreneurship & Leadership Conference PH

As a commentator and content creator, communication is already a big part of my life. I want to keep improving how I listen, explain, and understand what matters to the person across from me.

Alec Cuenca, founder and CEO of Co-Create Media and host of Small Talk! with Alec Cuenca, brings content, personal branding, and mindset into the conversation, according to the official event program.

This connects directly with my work. I want to explore how the storytelling skills I have developed through sports can help me make real estate more understandable and useful to people.

Scott Bergmann’s announced session focuses on winning exclusive listings. I am curious about how professionals communicate the value of their work and build enough trust for an owner to commit to a clear working relationship. LinkedIn

The event page also lists Cory Jo Vasquez, Realty ONE Group’s President and Chief Marketing Officer; Robb Spearman, with a keynote on the future of Philippine real estate; and Kurt Francis, a franchise growth consultant and strategist with the brand. Cory’s official biography highlights her responsibility for global branding, marketing, communications, and strategic growth, subjects that naturally interest me as a media entrepreneur.

I am looking forward to the conversations between sessions, too.

Pow Salud

For people who know me through Powcast Sports, this is another side of my journey. The curiosity is familiar. I still want to understand the people, the preparation, and the decisions behind the results.

Being part of Realty ONE Group Upgrade gives me an opportunity to keep asking those questions and to share what I discover.

That is why I am excited about ONE Talks Philippines.
